193 MW of new generation came online in Hawaii over the last 18 months; another 359 MW is in the EIA-860M pipeline (under construction or filed); 32 MW is on the books to retire over the next 36. Largest plant in the supply pipeline: Keamuku (Hawaii County) — 172 MW of battery storage, first online 2030-05. On the way out: Kahului — 32 MW of oil, retiring 2028-12.
